Log burning stoves are available in Natural Gas as well as the traditional solid fuel (wood/coal We are often asked "what is the difference between gas and solid fuel stoves?"

Basically, a traditional solid fuel log burning stove will produce twice as much heat output when compared to a gas log effect stove of the same size. Whilst gas effect stoves have improved greatly in terms of realism, a traditional sold fuel stove will always produce a more intense and variable flame. The process of building and lighting a fire is something that many people find satisfying, comforting and homely, especially on a cold and dark winters evening.
